Coaching Sales Champions
What a game! The Carolina Panthers stayed close for much of Superbowl 50 but the Broncos ultimately came out on top. What a testament to a great team-both defensively and offensively-and to great coaching. Behind every winning team, you'll find great coaches. These individuals understand what success looks like but even more, they know how to work with individual teammates in order to make the adjustments that move performance from good to great. That phrase "having the winning edge", well that certainly sums up the Denver Broncos tonight.
Great coaches aren't only limited to sports. In our own world of admissions and front gate operations, effective coaches work to improve service and to maximize revenue. They engage with the team and with each individual member of the team, listening closely to the sales dialogue and providing recommendations for how one's performance can be improved. In most cases, these recommendations are specific to the individual's literal words, vocal tone, and body language. Sales coaches understand that when these three components are in complete alignment, winning results are sure to follow.
"Coaches have to watch for what they don't want to see and listen to what they don't want to hear."
